As a plus-sized woman, I was a bit hesitant when I first thought about a boudoir shoot. I knew my husband would love it but I always felt like I needed to lose some weight first. I looked into a couple of different photographers but talked myself out of taking the plunge due to the price (and my insecurities). When KH Imaging Professional Photography offered a Boudoir Marathon package that included hair, make-up, wine, snacks, an hour long shoot, an album of 30 images, AND a CD with 10 images for a very reasonable price, I decided it was time. I knew that the weight may never be gone and my husband loved me for who I was and how I looked anyway.
On the day of the photo shoot, I was nervous. When I arrived, Kyleen and her awesome beautician Gina made me feel at ease immediately. Gina worked her magic, listened to my input, and had me feeling gorgeous in no time! When we began taking pictures, Kyleen asked first for my thoughts and ideas, I felt like she really listened to what I wanted out of the shoot while helping me pose in flattering and creative ways. Kyleen was very energetic, made me feel completely comfortable, and cared about creating a positive experience for me. She was also very prompt in returning the proofs which I really appreciated. I left my boudoir shoot feeling beautiful and knowing that my husband was going to LOVE his Christmas gift ;)

I was very skeptical doing this, i've never been that excited about sharing my body with more than my husband. Kyleen made this session the most fun I have ever had doing pictures. I was so unbelievably comfortable. She welcomed you with open arms and with goodies (who doesn't love wine). She was 100% professional from start to finish. She was amazing at capturing my personality in the pictures rather than someone I didn't recognize. These are beautiful pictures of me and I am so proud of myself and who I am in these pictures. Thanks to Kyleen I will definitely being doing these again and all women should love themselves enough to do this too, if not for your husband but for yourself, it was a lot of fun.
